We partner with leading players in the wet and dry bulk sector to accelerate decarbonisation. Our work with Klaveness Combination Carriers (KCC) demonstrates how air lubrication can deliver real-world impact in this critical segment. Supporting KCC’s ambition to operate one of the most carbon-efficient deep-sea fleets, the Silverstream® System is now installed on four of their CABU and CLEANBU vessels, with two more retrofits underway and three newbuilds planned.
Harnessing the power of both air and ocean – and guided by our greatest understanding of fluid dynamics – our system generates a uniform carpet of microbubbles beneath the hull. This reduces frictional resistance, enhancing fuel efficiency and lowering emissions.
