David Colson

David is a qualified engineer with over 30 years’ experience in design and manufacturing in the transportation, oil and gas and chemicals industries. Since 2005, he has worked for Gaztransport & Technigaz (GTT), the leading global supplier of LNG containment systems, and is currently Commercial VP for all GTT commercial activities, including responsibility for shipyard and licensee development, business development (ship owners, oil and gas), and strategy and marketing teams.

David is a Member of GTT’s Executive Committee, a Board Member of several Group subsidiaries and GTT’s representative on the Boards of industry bodies SGMF (Society for Gas as a Marine Fuel) and SEA-LNG. David holds a Double Honours degree B. Eng. and B. Com in Manufacturing Engineering and Commerce from the University of Birmingham (1989).
